This bed and breakfast is located centrally in historic Salem, and popular sites, restaurants and shops are within walking distance. The inn is reportedly haunted by many ghosts who had some contact with the house during their lives. The most well-known are those of Sarah, an aristocrat and heiress to the estate, and William Hunt, a merchant who built the estate in 1842. In 2008 a paranormal investigation was conducted and many more presences were named.
