This is the Armory on Clarke Street in Newport, Rhode Island. People have
reported hearing the sounds of military drills and marching when there
is no one in the building.
Update (September 2006)
The Armory now has a military museum with many uniforms from all over the world.
Some of these uniforms - especially the ones from India are reputed to be cursed
or haunted.
There are several uniforms from India in this museum. The one above was
very difficult for me to stand next to - it straight out scared me. The feeling I got from it
was that there was someone there who wanted me dead and was waiting
for me to turn my back. We didn't get any anomalous photos around it, and I am not sure
if this is one of the reputedly haunted uniforms. I would love to know more about
what type of uniform it is - I will do some reseacrh and update! Incidentally, this place
is definitely worth a visit if you are a history buff
