Many visitors to Parastudy have reported seeing an old man in and around the parling lot area, especially near this tree and in and around the barn. He appears as a real, solid person and has a disconcerting habit of disappearing as one looks at him.

The ghost of a young boy has been reported on the main staircase inside the house. This ghost is most often seen by children, but people of all ages have witnessed his presence.
